Bee and I are wondering if anyone can identify this plant.
Notice that the green leaves are very flat against one another, as you can see in the one farthest to the right. They also have very shallow roots or tubers, which sit just below the surface of the soil, and sometimes are partially exposed on top of the soil. Those roots or tubers sort of look like ginger lying there at the bottom of the plant. They are very easy to move, probably for that reason. I think many got pulled up when I was raking.
We are just wondering what they are, as they are everywhere in our yard. Anyone know?
